Wodonga Athletic Club hosted the Fed Hill Challenge from 2008 – 2016. Listed below are the results of these events.
The Fed Hill Challenge was a mass participation fun run reflecting Wodonga’s commitment to connecting communities and Wodonga Athletic Club’s dedication to promoting physical well being. It challenged participants to ‘get fit for spring’ by preparing for and running either a 5km or 10km course, catering for different levels of fitness. In 2016, a 2km primary school fun run was introduced around the Willow Park pathways.
The 5km and 10km courses started and finished at Willow Park, Wodonga. The 10km featured the trails and slopes of Federation Hill which highlighted spectacular views of Wodonga and Albury. The 5km event meandered along the base of Federation Hill, avoiding the steeper slopes.
During the 9 years the Fed Hill Challenge was conducted by Wodonga Athletic Club, over 2,100 runners completed the 10km event while 1,700 completed the 5km run.
